Quickest Way to Lose Weight – It Not As Hard As It Seems

Everyone is looking for the quickest way to lose weight. We have all heard about people using some crazy diet to drop a bunch of weight. These diets often do not work the way that they are advertised. I like to call these fad diets. They come and go very quickly without any sustainability because they simply do not work. I try and tell people to avoid these types of diets.

These diets do not work because they often promote methods that are actually negatively impacting your weight loss. Your long term efforts are actually being hurt by low carb, or low calorie type diets. The reason is that most of these diets are actually slowing down your metabolism. Your metabolism is very important because this is what causes you to burn fat. Whenever you deprive your metabolism of food, or fuel, you are actually slowing it take and decreasing its effectiveness. These diets are not the quickest way to lose weight.

Only one diet that I have seen, goes against these fad diets. We call this a calorie shifting diet.’ What that means in a nutshell is that you are pushing your metabolism to peak performance so that you are burning the maximum amount of fat possible.

This will not be accomplished by starving yourself. Actually it is the opposite. Exercise and good nutrition are the two things that this diet combines. Actually, you get to eat more than you would normally on these diets. This is because as you exercise your bodies metabolic rate increases which causes you to need more food. It sounds counter intuitive, but it works. This the quickest way to lose weight that I have seen.

What you are not doing is trying to trick you body. You are providing what it needs, and in turn you body responds and you begin to drop weight quickly. There is one diet in particular that has worked very well for me. I almost lost 6 pounds in my first week!
