I am overweight and need tips to lose weight?

I am 18 and weigh to much. My mother hounds me all the time to lose the weight or i will lose my boyfriend to skinny girls. What can i do ?

    Hi,
    Well, the first and best thing you can do is start by changing your diet.
    You don’t mention what your eating habits are like but you need to probably start by lowering how much carbs and sugar you eat.
    That means less or no candy, soda, juice and desserts.
    Also, less breads, pastas and rice.

    On top of that, try to drink more water than you do now.

    Altering your diet is the way to start, and then if possible, add some exercise to your life.

    This is just a general way to start, but if you need more specific ideas, let me know.
